KLM Houses Canal Cruise

Since the 1950s, KLM has presented every World Business Class passenger with a unique gift: a Delft Blue miniature traditional Dutch house, filled with Dutch gin, also known as genever. Each miniature depicts a Dutch house. Every year on 7 October KLM celebrates its anniversary, KLM’s founding in 1919, by presenting a new house. Over the years, these miniature houses have become desirable collectors' items, generating a lively trade among passengers.

Each KLM miniature house has its own unique story about the history of the building or the occupants from then and now. Canal Company and KLM will take you on a boat trip past the famous canalside houses, which you might have at home in miniature form. At the home port in Amsterdam, our guide will bring the stories to life and you will be able to compare the Delft Blue miniatures with the real canalside houses. During the cruise we serve freshly made Dutch apple cake with cream, coffee and tea. To commemorate this special boat trip, you will receive an exclusive Delft Blue souvenir.
